A vehicle and foot pursuit early Thursday morning in Logan County ended with the arrest of the suspect.
Logan County Sheriff’s Sgt. Robert Toombs attempted to stop a pickup driven by 46-year old Loren Kirk of Powderly on Dunmor Deerlick Road for a traffic violation, but Kirk allegedly drove into a field and then abandoned his vehicle on foot.
He ran through nearby woods, but was eventually found hiding in brush and arrested.
Kirk is charged with two counts of fleeing or evading police, driving with a suspended license and numerous traffic violations.
