Local man arrested for DUI, meth trafficking

A traffic stop for only having one headlight early Sunday morning led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on drug charges.

Kentucky State Police stopped 38-year old Kenneth McMickens of Hopkinsville and smelled an odor of marijuana and alcohol coming from his vehicle, according to a news release.

A search of his vehicle allegedly revealed methamphetamine.

McMickens was arrested and charged with DUI, trafficking in meth, possession of meth, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
