Additional details have been released on a wreck Sunday morning in Clarksville that killed the operator of a motorcycle and put the driver of a car in jail.
Clarksville Police identify the victim as 25-year old Diamond Dillard and say he was southbound on Providence Boulevard about 1:30 a.m. when 21-year old Benjamin Wilson of Fort Campbell turned left from East Second Street into his path.
Dillard’s motorcycle struck Wilson’s car and Dillard was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wilson was arrested and charged with DUI, vehicular homicide and failure to yield the right of way.
