The Christian County Animal Shelter’s annual Spayghetti Dinner and auction fundraiser was another big success Saturday night, bringing in a record total of $18,471.
Shelter Director Irene Grace says she continues to be humbled by the large crowds that show up to support the cause.
She says the Get’em Done Program reaps the benefits.
They are starting to see results of the program with fewer kittens and puppies coming into the facility.
The Rotary Auction just ended last month and Grace says it’s amazing that they received well over 200 items for the Spayghetti Dinner auction.
The dinner has been held at the Bruce Convention Center the last couple years after out-growing the War Memorial Building.
