A Hopkinsville woman was among three people arrested for first-degree criminal trespass following a burglary investigation in Madisonville Saturday.
Officers were called to 227 Park Avenue about 10:30 a.m. for several suspects possibly burglarizing the home and they found 21-year old Rachel Meece of Hopkinsville, 31-year old Thomas Smith of Earlington and 33-year old Ryan Bryant of Madisonville inside.
None of the suspects had permission to be there and they did not have a key, according to a news release.
All three were charged with criminal trespass, Smith was served with Muhlenberg County warrants and Meece was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.
