Heritage Christian Academy sent one of its largest graduating classes in school history out into the world Thursday night, with 41 Warrior seniors walking across the Bruce Convention Center stage at commencement.
The HCA class of 2018 has achieved about $889,000 in scholarship and grant monies and that number continues to grow.
The class salutatorian is Beatrice Donica and the valedictorian is Kaitlynn Ruth, who urged her classmates to ‘dare to be different.’
Dr. Cory Pitts and wife Jane gave the commencement address and assured the graduates that the character instilled in them at HCA will serve them well in whatever they pursue next.
‘Warrior of the Year’ awards were presented by Headmaster Linda Garris to Kassidy Knight and Charles Pitts.
