Nashville Predators coach Peter Laviolette and general manager David Poile met with the media today for a post season news conference. Poile stated he didn’t feel like the team had the consistency in the post season as they did in the regular season. He added he was very comfortable going into next season with the core players they currently have.
Laviolette said the group wants to come back and play together again next season. Nashville received the President’s Award for the best regular season record in the NHL, before bowing to the Winnipeg Jets in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs last week.
