A fire that damaged a mobile home on Princeton Road Saturday morning was determined to be arson and a neighbor was arrested.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Vanderkolk gave details to WHOP.
He says an accelerant was used and there were multiple points of ignition.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office arrested 32-year old Karen Brafman and charged her with first-degree arson and first-degree wanton endangerment. She’s lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Red Cross was assisting the two adults and four children who live in the trailer. Sgt. Vanderkolk says damage was minimal, but smoke did get inside.
West Side and Cerulean firefighters extinguished the blaze.
