MLB Roundup-Duvall’s walk off gives Reds win

National League action Wednesday saw the Cincinnati Reds win their second game in a row, defeating the New York Mets 2-1 in 10 innings. Adam Duvall got his first career walk off home run in the bottom of the 10th for the win. Manager Jim Riggleman talks about Duvall:

The Reds begin a West Coast swing tonight in Los Angeles against the Dodgers with coverage at 8:40 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: Anthony Rizzo’s three-run homer highlighted an eight-run third inning as the Chicago Cubs clobbered the Miami Marlins 13-4 to sweep a three-game series. The Cubs have the day off today.

Interleague: Nick Markakis clubbed a three-run homer to back six shutout innings from Julio Teheran as the Atlanta Braves got a 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays:

The Braves begin a weekend series tonight at the Miami Marlins.

Following an off day, the St. Louis Cardinals also begin a West Coast trip this evening at the San Diego Padres.
