Former Todd Co. deputy jailer indicted for sodomy, official misconduct

A former Todd County deputy Jailer has been indicted on sodomy and official misconduct charges.

The grand jury indicted 42-year old Kimberly Ward of Elkton for two counts of third-degree sodomy and one count of first-degree official misconduct.

The indictment alleges that she engaged in sexual activity with a male inmate while working in her capacity as a deputy jailer between February 26 and April 19, which were also her hire and termination dates.
