The Lexington Herald Leader reports Kentucky’s football program is getting a transfer who played basketball three seasons at the University of Iowa. Ahmad Wagner is 6-7, 235 pounds from Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Wagner was initially recruited by UK out of high school to play wide receiver. During his high school senior season, Wagner caught 58 passes for 1,028 yards and 17 touchdowns. He will have two years of eligibility for the Wildcats and be able to play this season.
