The Princeton Police Department has seized around $10,000 in fake money as the result of an investigation into complaints of fake bills being used at businesses.
According to a news release, officers arrested 18-year old Cameron Traylor of Princeton and two juveniles Friday in connection to the incidents. Officers confiscated $9,500 in movie prop bills and all three suspects were charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Police warn that businesses should pay close attention to bills they receive and the fake bills are clearly marked “For Motion Picture Purposes”.
