Softball: For the second time this season, Hopkinsville routed University Heights 22-6 in four innings Monday. Hopkinsville led 8-0 after 2 innings before UHA got within four at 8-4 in the third, then the Lady Tigers scored 14 runs in their next two at bats. Lauren Hodge not only got the pitching win for Hopkinsville, she was 3-3 at the plate. Ann Marie Fitzpatrick was 3-3 for the Lady Blazers in defeat. Hopkinsville improved to 6-14 with the win, while UHA went to 1-6 on the season.
Other scores saw Christian County blank Graves County 7-0, Dawson Springs swept a doubleheader from Fort Campbell 15-0 in both games in 3 innings, Todd Central eased by Edmonson County 8-5, Hart County edged Logan County 1-0.
Baseball: Caldwell County blanked Hopkinsville 6-0, University Heights blasted Christian Fellowship 26-0 in 5 innings, Trigg County edged Lyon County 3-2, Webster County eased by Hopkins Central 8-5, Muhlenberg County nipped Union County 3-2, Livingston Central routed Dawson Springs 11-1 in 5 innings, Madisonville defeated Crittenden County 5-1.
