Colt Ford to perform at WKSF

This summer’s Western Kentucky State Fair will feature the return of a concert in the grandstand and country music superstar Colt Ford will be the featured act.

Ford co-wrote Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Athem” and Brantley Gilebert’s Country Must Be Country Wide,” both chart toppers in 2012. His album, “Declaration of Independence,” topped the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and he followed that up with the successful “Thanks for Listening” album.

This year’s fair is June 22-30 and will feature all of the traditional events and features locals expect, in addition to new features. The concert will be on the first night—June 22—and tickets will range from 15-to-25 dollars. They will be available for purchase online Monday at westernkystatefair.org.
