One arrest, one sought after shots fired incident

One arrest has been made and another person is sought following a shots fired incident early Tuesday morning on Nelson Drive.

The call came out a few minutes after 4 a.m. at 2711 Nelson and Lt. Kyle Spurlin says a vehicle pursuit began shortly after officers arrived.

The driver of the car, 25-year old Trequan Lewis of Hopkinsville, was arrested and served with warrants for contempt of court and failing to appear in court. He’s also charged with fleeing or evading police and other traffic offenses related to the pursuit.

The passenger remains at large and anyone knowing that person’s identity or whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.

No one was injured by the gunfire, according to police.
