Christian County High School announced former Colonel Matthew Gibson as its new boys soccer coach today. CCHS principal Chris Benzel offered comments about Gibson:
Gibson played seven years in the Christian County program and graduated in 2013. He says he is looking forward to taking over the program.
Gibson has served as an assistant for the last two years. He replaces Arne Seeger who resigned at the end of the 2017 season. The Colonels were 5-14-3 and lost to Hopkinsville in the opening round of the 8th district tournament.
