An Easter weekend tradition for local youngsters, the WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt is coming up Saturday morning at Tie Breaker Park.
It’s a partnership between the local Recreation Department, the WHOP family of stations and other sponsors in the community and registration begins at 9:30 and ends at 10:45. Pam Rudd with the Recreation Department says get your egg-hunting license in advance to make it a smoother process getting in and getting started.
Arrive at Tie Breaker Park early as the hunt begins promptly at 11 a.m. and Rudd says also bring a basket for your child to collect the eggs.
The egg hunt is for walkers up to 8 years old and there’s also a hunt for special needs children.
Egg-hunting licenses can be found at Pound Chiropractic, Statons Art and Framing, the Recreation Department, Sassy Stuff Consignment, the Christian County Chamber of Commerce and Superlawn and Garden.
