Bonnie Lynch received the Fannie Bronson Postell 2018 Woman of the Year Award at a reception Thursday evening.
Lynch is active in many community projects, such as the League of Women Voters and the Imagination Library. The award recognizes a woman who through current or recent efforts, makes a positive impact in the community.
The recipient of the $500 2018 Women Teaching Women scholarship was Talynn Johnson.
