Clarksville Police say the man found shot outside an apartment complex on Memorial Drive Sunday afternoon has died from his injuries.
The victim is identified as 20-year old Cameron Rosario Ortiz of Clarksville. A news release says detectives are following up on leads and the investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing.
Officers received a shots fired call about 4:45 p.m. Sunday and found Ortiz with in a vehicle with gunshot wounds near the āNā building at 2191 Memorial Drive.
Police say the shooting does not appear to be random in nature and they do not believe the public to be in danger.
