An Elkton church has purchased the building on Allensville Street that formerly served as St. Susan Catholic Church and will host their first service there Easter Sunday.
Elkton Gospel Church was previously located on East Washington Street and purchased the building at 221 Allensville.
The first service there will be at 1:30 pm. Sunday. It’s open to everyone in the community and a church dinner will follow immediately after the service too.
Bro. Timothy Hughes, Sr. is the pastor and says, “We are grateful to God Almighty for seeing us this far. We had our first service Jan 1, 1989 in Elkton and are excited to be getting a new building.”
