Man flown to Nashville hospital after morning wreck

A wreck involving a car and a tractor-trailer at Greenville Road and the Bypass Friday morning sent a local man to a Nashville hospital.

It happened a few minutes after 5:30 a.m. and Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Vanderkolk gave details to WHOP News at the scene.

The driver of the car, 33-year old David Mack of Hopkinsville, was taken by EMS to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center helipad to be flown to a hospital in Nashville.

The Highland Volunteer Fire Department and Christian County Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
