Softball: Christian County routed University Heights 27-0 in three innings in the season opener for both teams. The Lady Colonels sent 15 batters to the plate scoring 12 times in the first inning and 20 batters in the second scoring 15 times to get the win. Christian County’s Emmy Blane had three hits, including a grand slam home run and six RBI. Hope Jones added three hits and Hannah Sumner picked up the pitching win. The Lady Blazers had just two hits with Ragen Pollard taking the pitching loss.
