The tumultuous season for the Louisville Cardinals ended last night with a 79-56 drubbing by Mississippi State in the NIT quarterfinals. The Cardinals shot just 35-percent from the field and 29.2-percent from beyond the arc. Ray Spalding paced the team with 13 points and Deng Adel was the only other Louisville player in double figures with 11. The Cardinals season ends at 22-14.
