Opening round action at the Boys Sweet 16 this afternoon saw Corbin defeat Estill County 50-40 and in a battle of top 10 teams, top ranked Scott County got a three pointer from Cooper Robb with 5.4 seconds left to edge third ranked Trinity 54-53. Corbin and Scott County will meet in the first quarterfinal game Friday at 11 am Hopkinsville time.
