Kentucky will be without freshman Jared Vanderbilt for Thursday night’s NCAA South Region tournament game against Davidson in Boise, ID. Coach John Calipari said on the SEC teleconference today Vanderbilt won’t play against Davidson nor in the second round game if the Wildcats win Thursday.
Calipari said Vanderbilt wanted to play but “I don’t see it right now, being able to put him in there and feel comfortable about it.” Vanderbilt did not play in the SEC tournament won by the Wildcats Sunday.
