UK, UT, Murray State and Lipscomb ready for NCAA tournament

UK and UT are among a record eight SEC teams to make the NCAA field of 68. Kentucky will open play in the South Region Thursday night in Boise, ID against Davidson, with pregame coverage beginning at 4:30 on Lite Rock 98.7.

Tennessee is appearing in the tournament for the first time since 2014 as they will meet Wright State in South Region action in Dallas at 11:40 am on Thursday.

Murray State will begin play on Friday at 3 pm in San Diego against West Virginia while Lipscomb, making its first NCAA appearance will face North Carolina in Charlotte at 1:45 pm on Friday.

Nashville is the destination for a few teams participating in the NCAA Tournament. Cincinnati will tip off South Region play against Georgia State at Bridgestone Arena on Friday. Texas and Nevada play in the second game.

Xavier will host either North Carolina Central or Texas Southern in West Region action and Missouri will battle Florida State. The winners will face each other in the second round on Sunday.
