Kentucky State Police arrested a Nortonville man Saturday on charges of possession of methamphetamine after responding to a complaint of attempted theft.
According to a news release, troopers responded to a foreclosed property in Nortonville were a man with a motorcycle was allegedly trying to steal a boat and trailer. Upon arrival to the property, contact was made with 46-year old David Harvey of Nortonville, who had warrants out for his arrest.
A search of his person allegedly revealed meth and unspecified drug paraphernalia. Harvey was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, third degree criminal trespassing and failure to notify change of address.
