The Courier Journal reports Louisville interim athletic director Vince Tyra as saying if the Cardinals don’t make the NCAA tournament, they will play in the NIT. Tyra made the comment during an interview on a Louisville radio station today. The Cardinals last played in the NIT in 2006.
