The Logan County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Auburn man Tuesday on several charges, including possession of methamphetamine.
According to the police report, a deputy observed a vehicle driven by 44-year old Barry Coursey of Auburn and knew that Coursey had warrants out for his arrest. A traffic stop was initiated and Coursey was taken into custody on strength of a Logan County Circuit Court warrant.
A search of his person revealed a plastic bag and a straw, both of which contained methamphetamine. Coursey was lodged in the Logan County Jail and charged with possession of methamphetamine, operating a vehicle on a suspended license, failure to maintain insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
