Christian County defeated Madisonville 68-45. The Colonels trailed by as many as 10 points in the first quarter and were down 18-15 at the end of the period before outscoring Madisonville 55-27 over the final three periods to get the win. Detorrion Ware had 32 points with Cory Trice adding 17 as Christian County improved to 21-7. Madisonville was led in scoring by Cade Cunningham with 16 in ending the season 20-10.
Christian County will face Henderson County in the first semifinal game Saturday afternoon at 2 after the host Colonels cruised by Lyon County 63-51. Issac Anglin had 17 points to lead Henderson County, now 14-13 on the season. Lyon County was lead by Jackson Shoulders 16 points in concluding the season 8-19.
