The field for the Ohio Valley Conference men’s and women’s tournaments to be played at the Ford Center in Evansville this week is set.
Women’s: Murray State is the 8th seed and will play its first game at 1 pm Wednesday against top seed Belmont. Austin Peay is the 6th seed and will play third seed SIU Edwardsville Thursday at 3 pm. The semifinals are Friday afternoon with the championship game Saturday afternoon.
Men’s: Austin Peay is the third seed and will play either Tennessee State or Eastern Illinois Thursday night at 8:30. Top seed Murray State has a double bye into the semifinals and will play either Jacksonville State, Tennessee Tech or SIU Edwardsville Friday night at 7 pm.
Belmont is the two seed and will play either Austin Peay, Tennessee State or Eastern Illinois in the second semifinal game Friday night. The championship game is Saturday night.
