Christian County won its first district title since 2010 with a 62-39 win over Hopkinsville. Trinitee Jackson led the Lady Colonels and all scorers with 25 points with Trinity McGee and Aaliyah Hampton each adding 14 as Christian County improved to 21-7.
Hopkinsville was led in scoring by London Foster’s 15 points and Breon Oldham added 14 as the Lady Tigers fell to 19-10. Both teams will play in next week’s 2nd region tournament that begins Monday at Webster County High School.
