Grant Williams put up 23 points as 19th-ranked Tennessee edged Florida 62-57 in Knoxville. The Vols held off a late Gator rally to improve to 20-7. The Vols visit Ole Miss Saturday.
Grayson Allen put up 28 points as fifth-ranked Duke crushed Louisville 82-56. Ray Spalding led the Cardinals with 17 points and 10 rebounds in defeat. The Cards shot less than 36-percent from the field. Louisville dropped to 18-10 and will visit Virginia Tech Saturday.
Women’s action saw Austin Peay fall to SIU Edwardsville in OVC action 67-55.
