Championship games take place this evening at Christian County with the boys game featuring Christian County and University Heights at around 7:30. The Colonels are seeking their first district title in two years while UHA is searching for its first championship since 2011 when they defeated the Colonels, who went on to win the state championship.
The girls game has Hopkinsville and Christian County meeting for the third straight year for the 8th district title. Hopkinsville has won the last two championship games. Coverage for Chick Fil A of both games begins with the Heritage Bank pregame show at 5:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
Other action this evening has Lyon County facing Crittenden County in the 5th district boys championship and Muhlenberg County travels to Ohio County for the 10th district title game.
Girls action has Henderson County entertaining Webster County in the 6th district championship, Dawson Springs visits Caldwell County in the 7th district title game, Todd Central goes to Logan County in the 13th district final and Bowling Green faces South Warren in the 14th district championship.
