Man charged with theft from Boys and Girls Club

The man accused of stealing a laptop computer from the Boys and Girls Club last week has been charged with felony theft.

Hopkinsville Police say 38-year old Lane Dustin Waddell of Hopkinsville matches the description of the perpetrator and officers made contact with him Monday afternoon on East 21st Street.

Waddell allegedly admitted he has stolen the computer and said it was at his home. The laptop was recovered and was undamaged, according to the report.

Waddell was cited into court for felony theft.
