HPD seeking storage unit burglary suspects

Hopkinsville police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle that is suspected to be involved in the burglary of storage units.

According the police report, unknown suspects broke into two storage units sometime between February 10th and 11th. Several items of personal property were stolen. A red pickup truck was caught on video surveillance. The vehicle is a 1990’s model Dodge Dakota with what appears to be a Kentucky farm tag with the first two digits possibly being 29.  The vehicle has black wheels, tinted windows with multiple stickers and chrome bed rails.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or those involved are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
