Woman arrested near Crofton for DUI, heroin possession

A woman stopped by for reckless driving by Kentucky State Police near Crofton Friday night was arrested on heroin charges.

State Trooper Hunter Carroll pulled over 29-year old Ashley Miller of Bloomington, Illinois on the Pennyrile Parkway and a news release says she appeared to be under the influence.

Further investigation allegedly revealed an open alcohol container, heroin and numerous pills in Miller’s vehicle.

A suspicious check was also located and Trooper Carroll determined Miller had allegedly written herself a check without permission from the check owner’s permission.

Miller was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of heroin, possession of controlled substance, having an open alcohol container, drug paraphernalia possession and several other traffic and drug-related charges.
