Arraignment for the 15-year old male accused of killing two students at Marshall County High School and injuring 21 others in a shooting last month has been postponed.
It had been scheduled for Friday, but Commonwealth’s Attorney Mark Blankenship tells WPSD TV that prosecutors were notified Thursday that the defense intends to challenge mental competence.
The judge in the case has reported decided the arraignment will be postponed until the results of a mental evaluation of the 15-year-old shooting suspect are available for the court.
