Woman arrested for alleged assault

A local woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly assaulted her boyfriend with a knife and screwdriver.

The arrest citation from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department for 21-year old Quadranay Leavelle of Hopkinsville says she and her boyfriend got into an altercation over something she found on his phone. Leavelle woke the victim up by throwing the phone at him and later chased him with the knife and screwdriver.

Police say the victim had visible injuries to his face, arms, chest, back and ankle and he said Leavelle had stabbed him.

Leavelle is also accused of breaking the window out of his truck.

She is charged with second-degree assault, domestic violence.
