Someone smashed the window out of a locked car on East Ninth Street Monday morning to steal a purse inside.
The victim told Hopkinsville Police she parked her vehicle at 201 East Ninth about 8:15 a.m.
When she returned two hours later following a yoga session, she noticed the passenger side front window had been broken. A purse and contents with a combined value of $711 were stolen, according to the Hopkinsville Police report.
