Clarksville Bank of America robbed

The Clarksville Police Department is investigating the Thursday afternoon robbery of the Madison Street Bank of America and a suspect is sought.

According to a news release, a white male suspect entered the bank around 2:15 p.m. and handed the teller a note, demanding money. The teller complied and he left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.  No weapon was ever displayed.

The suspect is described at a while male, standing 5’11 and possibly around 50 years of age. He was wearing a leather jacket, grey sweater or hoody and a black t-shirt with some lettering on it.  He may have gotten into an ice blue four door car.
