Christian County won its final regular season home game on Senior Night with a 74-64 win over University Heights. Just like in the first meeting, the Blazers led by three at halftime 33-30 before the Colonels went on a 23-13 run in the third quarter to pull out the lead.
Detorrion Ware had 30 points for Christian County with JaQuon Long adding 17 and Cory Trice pitched in 11. University Heights had three players in double figures with KyKy Tandy leading the Blazers with 25 points, KJ Crump added 14 and Taquon Hollowell had 13.
Christian County improved 16-6 overall and 5-0 in the district while University Heights is 14-7 overall and 3-2 in the district. University Heights returns to action Thursday night at Hopkinsville while Christian County also plays at Hopkinsville on Saturday night.
