Two women arrested on drug charges

A woman accused of driving the wrong way on South Virginia Street Monday afternoon was arrested along with a passenger on multiple charges.

Hopkinsville Police stopped 33-year old Sheena McClure of Clarksville and an arrest citation says she performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She also didn’t have a driver’s license and a K9 alerted on the vehicle.

McClure allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana and taking prescription pills before driving.

A passenger, 59-year old Susan Jack of Clarksville, reportedly claimed ownership of a bottle and jar that contained marijuana and scales and a bottle of various prescription pills in her pocket.

She also had a large amount of cash on her person.

McClure was arrested for DUI, careless driving, driving without a license and tags and for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Jack was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana and drug possession.
