The Kentucky 2-A Championships Board of Directors met Wednesday to discuss plans to host a statewide Class 2-A boys and girls state basketball tournament. According to a news release issued by Union County athletics director Jeremy Tackett, plans are to have the inaugural tournament January 17-20, 2019 at a site yet to be determined. The board is also exploring a number of other aspects involving the event.
