A woman accused of kidnapping her own children was arrested by Hopkinsville Police Tuesday afternoon.
The Kentucky Department of Community Based Services served 24-year old Tiffany Brooks with papers that the state would be taking custody of her children, according to an arrest citation, which says Brooks told the case worker she wasn’t going to give them up and then left with the children.
Police located Brooks at a Palmyra Road location about 1:20 p.m. and arrested her for two counts of kidnapping of a minor.
