The Courier Journal reports a private detective agency has been hired to investigate former Louisville athletics director Tom Jurich. Kentucky Special Investigative Unit- a Louisville based agency-is pursuing leads in regards to Louisville’s contract with Adidas and has approached the Courier Journal seeking information on “any allegations of sexual harassment between Jurich and females involved with the University”.
Late last night, WHAS-TV reported the school acknowledged it had hired the private investigators and a spokesperson said it was “a routine part of ongoing or pending litigation.” Jurich and basketball coach Rick Pitino were terminated last fall in connection with the alleged payment of money to former recruit Brian Bowen.
