Fourth District state Representative Lynn Bechler now has an opponent in the May Republican primary.
Fred Stubblefield of Marion filed his papers with the Secretary of State’s Office and will face Bechler in May. The winner will likely face Democrat Abigail Barnes of Livingston County in the general election.
