The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occurred on Kelly Mount Zoar Road sometime between Sunday and Wednesday.
According to the police report, the homeowner’s daughter had checked on the house on Sunday, but when she returned Wednesday she discovered it had been broken into and several items of personal property were missing.
The lock to the back door had been broken before the incident and the daughter had been keeping it shut with a ratchet strap. The strap had been cut. Four suspects’ names are redacted on the police report.
Items stolen include an arrowhead collection, a flat screen television, DVDs, DVD player, groceries, a microwave, power tools and more. Everything taken was valued at $2,450. **
