Jackson Bell Pickett Chewning
A Hopkinsville man was indicted by a Christian County Grand Jury Friday for 10 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
The indictment alleges that 50-year old Chester Jackson of Hopkinsville had 10 pictures that showed a nine-year old girl in a sex performance. Police say 10 photographs were found in a text message thread between Jackson and his girlfriend, who allegedly sent him the photos. The warrant says the juvenile is believed to be the girlfriend’s daughter and that she was arrested in Tennessee on child porn charges. Her name is not listed on the local warrant.

Jonathan Bell was indicted for second degree assault and the indictment alleges that he intentionally assaulted the female victim in December, wantonly causing physical injury.

Also indicted are Joseph Chewning and Brandon Pickett, for five counts of wanton endanger and first degree criminal mischief. According to the indictment, they caused more than $1,000 worth of damaged owned by one of the victims and wantonly shot a firearm, creating a substantial risk of death for five individuals. **
