Prisoners hurt in van crash

Posted by vipology-forcht on January 18, 2018 in Local News

Weather played a role in an accident last week on Dawson Springs Road that injured three prisoners in a van.

It happened about 6:30 p.m. Friday near Consolation Loop, according to the report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Rusty Rosencrance, which says 57-year old Kenneth Foggs of Winer Springs, Florida was driving the Prisoner Transportation Services van northbound when it drifted to the right and came to rest against an earthen embankment.

Two prisoners had to be extricated and three—30-year old Joshua Thomas, 51-year old John Razor and 25-year old Lester Lemons of Hopkinsville—were taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Slick pavement is listed as a factor on the report.
